- What you should know: This TAG Heuer Carrera is in overall good form. Its case and caseback bear minor scuffs. Also, a few light nicks are visible on the bracelet and clasp.

Why we love it
With a 43mm stainless steel case and a design that is subtle and dignified, this TAG Heuer Carrera is a terrific bang for the buck. Its two-toned dial is legible and clean, fitted with bold Arabic numeral minute markers on the black chapter ring. The contrasting central panel of the dial houses applied hour indexes, two sub-dials at three and nine, and a date aperture at six o'clock. Valuable functionality is one of the strongest elements of TAG Heuer watches, eloquently manifested in this reference too. The charming subtlety of the case is matched perfectly with the simplicity of the dial, making this Carrera a versatile piece that can be worn for special occasions and everyday rotation.
Powering this watch is the automatic calibre 36. It comes with a flyback chronograph mechanism that ensures much more accurate time recording as it allows the chronograph hand to swing back to the start position instantly. Subsequently, one can skip pressing the stop button and directly press reset to bring the chronograph hand to the starting position. In addition, this movement, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, also promises a power reserve of 50 hours.
